I Trail Run

The half marathon course begins in Coney Meadow and sets off towards Overton Lake where runners will turn left and cross Ham Bridge then Bluebell Bridge before another left turn along the River Nene.  Runners will then continue along the river through Bluebell Wood until reaching the north aspect of the park where the course follows the Nene Way footpath past an initial water station at Milton Ferry Bridge.

Approximately half a mile along Nene Way the course turns right and heads down Landy Green Way then Left onto Mill Lane where runners will make their way towards Castor Back Waters. From the bottom of Mill lane runners will turn left and follow Black Dike where the second water station will be positioned before runners follow more footpath through the Rural Estate until re-joining back onto Nene Way. Heading north, runners will cross the railway lines and turn right to head back into Nene Park where they will run north through a series of meadows alongside the River Nene.

The course follows along the edges of Long Meadow and Short Meadow before turning south past Pontoon Bridge towards Bluebell Bridge, which runners will again cross and turn left for a second lap of the course. After the 12 mile mark runners will head south from Short Meadow and cross Ham bridge to finish off the 2 lap race back in Coney Meadow.
